Update: We have elected to postpone the YLP Golf Tournament to May 30th, 2024.  ~ YLP Golf Committee

By listening to our Youth and Elders and giving them the space to dream, lead, and act, the outcome is “Nis Ts’edilh” (we are moving forward). Identities are strengthened, communities are brought together, and lives are transformed by the simple act of listening.

Nis Ts’edilh Elders and Youth Society, created in 2022, by two Indigenous corporate leaders, who listened to each other’s and other Indigenous community members’ stories that were based on the events that reflected the internal and environmental setting that they grew up in. Each wove the multiple factors of each self together to create this purpose, “Nis Ts’edilh”- we are moving forward, like the harvesting and preparing the spruce roots then weaving, to create a basket, as their ancestors did.

Your participation and financial contribution through support of our annual Golf Tournament fundraiser, shall allow Nis Ts’edilh Elders and Youth Society to harvest, process the spruce roots to weave many more baskets.
